What started as a film project for CSUS classes turned into a bit of a digital photo shoot that lovely Miss B so graciously went along with!

And he is such a good little model! Before I shot these with my digital, I used the 4x5 large format camera I had checked out from school, and Jack actually sat really still while I took 6 shots, all 2 seconds long. He only moved for one! (At least I hope only one...) These digital ones turned out pretty good. Jack loves playing with the little soccer ball!
I finally scanned some of the film from my afternoon with the Viele family for my class project. I definitely got some great material to work with for my "portraits without faces" topic.
I seem to be attracted to hard light. I like them anyway. Sarah was patient enough to model for me while I shot with the large format camera.

These are definitely three of the most fun people to work with! The Vieles were sweet enough to let me spend a few hours with them today taking photos for my final project, and I got some fantastic photos of Tanya, Rob, and their son, Jack!
